yippee!

I have survived my first week in Bradford. What started out as a lot of spare time and wondering why in the world I came to this city. like seriously why. God showed up like he tends to do and makes more sense of the situation. and puts me at peace.

So {life in england = fairly boring} until sunday.
After sunday everything got so much better. After church on sunday I met some of the most incredible and brilliantly funny people! people being Ruth, Michael, Ellie, and Reuben. We went to nandos for lunch with a few other people and then went to more church and then went to "family night" where I met Jojo, Isaac, Kate, and Moses. It was at this lovely gathering where I started realizing that English people drinking A LOT of tea isn't a stereotype at all but a complete truth.

The next day I went for a girls day with Ellie and Ruth. We went shopping in Leeds and it was amazing!

After shopping we went home to Bradford and played one of the most ridiculous and fun cards games EVER! Reuben and Michael jpined us for this and wow I have never seen anything like it before. I have not laughed that hard in quite a while...of you ever want to play an ace card game this would be it but be careful who you play with or there may be a storm sent your way!! this card game lasted many hours and many cups of tea and biscuits. after going to bed at about 2:30 in the morning, I woke up to go on yet another adventure.
Ruth, Michael, Ellie, Reuben, and Me all went for a lovely drive and I got to see the incredibly beautiful countryside in england. We then went on an old school steam train. It was so cool!! We went to this little town Haworth were emily bronte and her family lived which again was brilliant. We were joind by mim another friend and had tea at her place and had quite a heated discussion about twilight and bruce willis as a florist. definitely interesting.

the day was topped of with dinner which was SOOO good and meeting another friend. Welcome Magnus everyone. After dinner we all went to the boys house and watched step brothers which is a ridiculously funny movie. After the movie we had more tea had biscuits/ Played cards and watched you tube videos and talked music stuffs. The day concluded at about 3 am so I went to bed.

This morning I made french toast and tea for breakfast. i have never made more perfect french toast in my life! I dare say it was better than stuffed french toast at ihop. It was literally that good.

Today was just as exciting! Today was the start of the rocknations conference. It was incredible seeing so many youth so in love with God and excited to worship. I LOVE IT! it has only begun and I can't wait to see what is next!
